Cassette filter vs Baffle filter- Which filter is best 2022

There are two types of chimney one is filtered and other one is filterless.

In terms of filter you can also find some other filters such as Cassette filters and Baffle filter.

Now the question comes what is the difference between both Cassette filter and Baffle filter.

Let me explain it one by one.

What is Cassette Filter?

Cassette filter consists of multiple layer of mesh. They generally made of Stainless steel and Aluminium.

All the oil and dirt get stuck to these mesh layers and removes the smoke from the chimney.

While Cassette filters are highly maintenance as they requires cleaning weekly/biweekly.

They are light weight but cost efficient.

What is a Baffle filter?

Baffle filter is the upgraded version of mesh filters. The remove the oil and grease from the smoke and clean the kitchen air.

The oil stuck to the baffle filter which you can clean within every three to four months, hence they want moderate maintenance.

They are quite expensive as compared to the standard filters.
